A Mantra for Feelings

The worst thing you can do with an emotion is try to pretend its not there. We get so fearful of negative emotions, forgetting that that fear too is negative. So by resisting your emotions, you are sending negative energy to the Universe only to be returned back to you. If you feel sad, FEEL it--but don't become it. We often say "I'm mad". Start with your vocabulary. You are not mad, you are You. You feel mad, but you are not your feelings so don't limit yourself by allowing yourself to "become" any emotion.


A simple mantra I repeat to myself when feeling that I encourage you to use is:

"I am feeling. I am not my feeling. I am."
